Suite 10, situated on the 2nd floor, is a vibrant two bedroom, two bathroom modern flat to suit those who enjoy comfort in style.

The super king bed in the main bedroom is zip-linked to provide two single beds as required, while the second bedroom has a double bed. A choice of feather or synthetic quilts and pillows are available, linens are of crisp cotton, and should one feel the need to cook, the stylish and modern kitchen is fully equipped to meet the needs of any enthusiastic chef!

There is a separate small office area in the entrance hall for those who may have to mix business with pleasure.

Books, puzzles, DVD player, iPod player, Wi-Fi are also available. Enjoy the books and games, and if you start a good book but don’t finish it please feel free to take it with you. Also if you have finished a good book and would care to leave it for others to enjoy, we would be most grateful.

The building at Fossgate Mews was once a hotel used mainly by traders from the livestock market in Walmgate. It was called The Kings Arms Hotel and as with so many buildings in York, there is abundant evidence of the past in the quaint and quirky features, such as the sloping floors and the blocked off doorways. The original old fireplace is still in situ in the main bedroom.
