Suite 5, on the 1st floor, is a two-bedroomed apartment that can sleep 4 with a beautiful traditional English country-living feel. A home away from home.

The two main rooms of the flat with the majestic windows and high ceilings once made up the ballroom of the 19th century Kings Arms Hotel and as with so many buildings in York, there is abundant evidence of the past in the quaint and quirky features such as the sloping floors!

The super king and king-sized beds are zip-linked to give the option for single bed accommodation.A choice of feather or synthetic quilts and pillows are available, linens are of crisp cotton, crockery is of finest bone china, and should one feel the need to cook, the newly refitted kitchen is fully equipped to meet the needs of any enthusiastic chef!

If a few nights in are on the agenda, sink into the comfy sofa or leather chairs and enjoy the books, puzzles, DVD player, iPod player, Wi-Fi, or just watch the world go by.

Enjoy the books and games, and if you start a good book but don't finish it please feel free to take it with you. Also if you have finished a good book and would care to leave it for others to enjoy, we would be most grateful.

Free parking is available either on-site or at a nearby location.

A welcome tray awaits you on arrival, with fresh milk in the fridge. We would be only too pleased to fill any requests for special occasions.
